In 2020 the earlier model Giro Soft was launched with just a handful of elements and two versions of the base: one in aluminium and one with wooden sled legs. This original design gave the modular sofa a floating appearance. With Grand Giro, we have now come down to earth. The sculptural quality of the elements, the endless lines of the seams and the ergonomically perfect comfort have been preserved. The structural base of the legs has been omitted, and the fabric body extends right down to the floor; only a very fine plinth separates the upholstery from the floor with a subtle shadow gap.
