More than almost any other Swiss designer, Alfredo Häberli has shaped the international design scene for over 30 years. His professional career took off right after graduating from the School of Design in Zurich - that was in 1991. In the early years of the new century, Häberli's career reached its first highlights with the glass collection Essence (2001) for Iittala and the Segesta (2002) and Selinunte (2004) chairs for Alias – to name but a few successful products of that time.
