Alfredo Häberli (*1964) knows the importance of asking the right questions. The industrial designer describes himself as a combination of Swiss precision and Latin American emotionality. And with this he has achieved international renown. In his Zurich studio «Alfredo Häberli Design Development», the Buenos Aires-born Swiss designer develops reduced and inventive designs, combining reality with soul and humour. Instead of following trends, he tries to find his own answers. And today, exactly thirty years after opening his own studio in 1991, he still realises his visions for brands such as Caran d'Ache, Kvadrat or Moroso with the same degree of passion, discipline and élan as on day one.
