This little wooden man deserves his place on any bookshelf. He is adjusted so that his length fits into the space between two bookshelves, and simple pressure on his nose locks him into position. Now he cannot slip or tip. The idea for Pinocchio was derived from a builder's clamp and carpenter's vice. The material used for this book end, wood, has an affinity to books: it treats them sensitively and prevents them from falling over.
