When I am home, The Spanish Chair is the chair I spend most time in – reading, enjoying drinks with friends or simply watching TV. It’s as if The Spanish Chair speaks to me through its perfectly shaped design and its refined materials. It calls to mind stories, images and ideas, and if Børge Mogensen was able to interpret an old Spanish officer’s chair, my own stories could perhaps pave the way for me to present my deep and respectful homage to an iconic chair and its designer: Børge Mogensen.
